• In partnership with their Planning Manager, Buyer/Sr Buyer and Supply Chain, this associate develops the annual, quarterly and weekly Merchandising sales, margin and inventory plan/forecast. This position will help monitor that the plan/forecast meets company and Merchandising objectives.
• In response to their manager or business partner, this position is expected to able to complete Merchandising financial analytics related to:
o Historical variance to plan/forecast explanations for all elements of the Merchandising financial plan - sales, margin and inventory
o Go-forward risk/opportunity to plan/forecast for all elements of the Merchandising financial plan
o Brand/Vendor/Good-Better-Best Analysis
o Ad Hoc responsibilities
• Assist their manager and business partners in the financial support for Merchandising Initiatives - business case and sales/margin lift.
• This position will regularly interact with Sr Buyers, Buyers, Supply Chain Managers and Finance Managers to complete assignments but also have the ability to effectively interface a level higher in the organization.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business or three to seven plus years work experience related to Financial or Merchandising Financial Analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
