Join the CSL Plasma IT team as a Senior Network Administrator. This opportunity designs, installs, administers and optimizes company servers to achieve high performance of business applications. Responsibilities include ensuring the availability of applications, configuring new implementations, and developing processes for ongoing management of the server environment. CITRIX & VDI experience needed!Main Responsibilities include: Develops strategies and architects infrastructure for client/server implementations including integration of disparate operating environments. Acts as a project lead to coordinate key process improvements as well as lead in the design and review of new server systems, applications and capacity planning. Ensures the availability, reliability and scalability of corporate servers to meet business demands. Manages enterprise directory services including file system configuration, users, rights, permissions, security and disaster recovery procedures. Plans and implements server upgrades, maintenance fixes and vendor supplied patches. Recommends and executes changes to improve efficiency and reliability. Develops and maintains training materials and server documentation including operational procedures, server provider contacts, and user notifications.Conducts research on hardware, software and protocols in support of procurement and development efforts. Organizes schedules, scope, staffing and budget for large scale IT projects.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration. Technical training in server administration, networking, and operating systems. Six years related work experience, including proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products, and experience in medium to large project management. Preferred experience in regulated industry. Strong knowledge of federal regulations governing infrastructure qualification and validation.Must be able to support (system configuration, troubleshooting, application installs, and ability to connect to printers and other external devices) current versions of desktop operating systems on industry-standard hardware. Ability to lead large projects, managing scope, schedule, budget and quality. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both technical and non technical language. Capable of performing system qualification and validation in compliance with the company's Quality Management System, System Development Life Cycle and all associated SOPs. Capable of producing clear and concise systems documentation.
