Using discretion and judgment, coordinates the workflow within the Risk Management, Quality, & Monitoring Department. Reviews reports to ensure compliance with MFSC policies and/or regulatory requirements. Assists management with the tracking and completion of vendor documentation and ensures compliance with the MFS Vendor Management Program. Also may assist with trend analysis, reporting, monitoring, and improvement recommendations for attaining departmental goals.
Maintains tracking document for vendor management compliance with MFS Vendor Management Program
Assists vendor owners with understanding the requirements of the vendor management program
Ensures timely posting of documentation to the vendor management document retention system.
Prepares weekly and monthly reports to satisfy departmental objectives.
Interacts with own department as well as others to facilitate resolution of questions and concerns.
Provides feedback to Manager regarding current and potential issues affecting department.
Participates in special projects related to department goals as requested.
Assists in cross-training initiatives to assist overall department objectives.
Works with Information Technology group to coordinate the implementation of system enhancements affecting vendor management process and potentially additional workflows.
Maintains awareness of changes to MFSC policy and/or regulatory requirements. Develops and maintains departmental procedures accordingly.
Works with Compliance as necessary to fulfill transfer agency regulatory requirements.
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
Bachelor degree or equivalent training.
Minimum 4 years related mutual fund experience.
Expertise in the following software applications may be required: Access, Excel, and Power Select.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to achieve results both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
