We have a Downtown Houston client with an immediate need for a Oracle Applications Financial Specialist. This is a salaried position with a dynamic O & G company. The pay range for this position is 120-125K plus benefits.
The Senior Oracle Applications Specialist reports to the Oracle F&A Applications Manager in Corporate Applications IT and is responsible for the support, maintenance and configuration of Oracle E-Business Suite applications including General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Purchasing, Assets and iExpense. Oracle Projects is highly desired and any EAM and Oracle Inventory experience will be a plus. This position is also responsible for supporting other peripheral applications used to supplement Oracle EBS.
Your responsibilities would include:
As the functional application senior specialist this person will work heavily with the accounting user community providing outstanding user support for Oracle applications and related business processes. Will be required to work in conjunction with other IT projects affecting Oracle processes and integration. Will be responsible for additional application configuration required by new business processes, future applications and the upcoming R12 Upgrade Project. Will work with external consultants as needed. Must be solutions-oriented and have excellent communications skills.
To be a fit, you'll need to match the following requirements:
Heavy functional with light-to-medium technical knowledge of and recent hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and/or R12 Financial applications. Must have experience with integration of Oracle EBS applications.
o Oracle Experience Required: Oracle Financials including General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Purchasing, Assets and iExpense
- Education and Certifications: Bachelors Degree in IT or Business-related field
- Experience: Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12 with an emphasis on Projects, Procurement and Financial applications support
o Oracle Experience Highly Desired: Oracle Projects
o Oracle Experience Plus: EAM and Oracle Inventory
o General: Functional, technical and analytical abilities sufficient for the support and configuration of Oracle 11i/R12 applications. Some experience with Oracle workflows, personalizations and extensions. Ability to interact effortlessly with business/user community to determine and document new functional or technical requirements, to work with other IT professionals to implement solutions.
