Job Description: A Senior Database Administrator is needed on Raytheon's ITC program. Job location is the Sterling/Ashburn area of Northern Virginia.
Responsibilities:
Provides all activities related to the administration of computerized databases.
Projects long-range requirements for database administration and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function.
Designs, creates, and maintains databases in a client/server environment.
Conducts quality control and auditing of databases in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
Advises users on access to various client/server databases.
Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, file design and storage, and integration of systems through database design.
Required Skills:
Active TS/SCI clearance (no exceptions)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast moving, dynamic environment on a program that is growing.
Experience with Oracle 11gR2 databases plus an understanding of most of the following:
CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent/higher DoD 8570 certification (e.g. CISSP)
Experience with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) or other Intelligence Community (IC) agencies.
Required Education (including Major): Bachelors Degree in a Computer or Engineering-related field. 8+ years of applicable experience. For a Masters Degree, only 4+ years of applicable experience needed.
