global partnerships, business development, partner management and ecosystem development
across Nokia & Microsoft platforms for partners based on the West Coast.

Takes responsibility for
managing and harvesting top partners and identifying new application development
opportunities within a global partner portfolio. Leads the differentiation
strategy and vision for key Nokia partnerships, and develops the account
roadmap vision to help guide and execute the partnership deals.

Establishes new opportunities across West
Coast partners by creating new, creative, and innovative showcase application
development proposals to deepen Nokia’s partner and consumer

The candidate will posses
keen business development acumen, negotiation and communication skills with a high
level of industry expertise and technical knowledge in the mobile applications

As a global BDM, demonstrate an ability
to work in a global cross functional team from partner marketing, local sales
units, Smartphones and Mobile Phones product marketing, with a focused drive on
operator and developer channels to ensure Nokia has a leading portfolio of must
have solutions. The BDM acts as a core relationship point for content
partnering with Nokia’s strategic partner Microsoft.

The BDM will also work with x-functional teams
to leverage Bought Media channels to drive complementary app and content


Tasks include:

Lead Partner management for partners based on the West Coast who operate
on a Global basis


With with x-functional Global and Local marketing teams to leverage
Bought Media channels to drive complementary app and content experiences


Optimize and identify ‘hero’ and “must have” partners to create Nokia
exclusive partner application differentiation opportunities, Globally


Microsoft coordination and relationship development to ensure Nokia and
Microsoft create a world class and best in class global content eco system


Negotiate deals with new partners
across all Nokia platforms through strategic insights, analysis, and innovative
app concepts


Drive harvesting within
the account portfolio by applying a systematic method for identifying and
modelling differentiation opportunities


Create and contribute
towards effective user stories and use cases that define differentiating app
experiences across all Nokia platforms


Synthesize a range of Nokia ecosystem technologies and capabilities into
high quality products and innovative applications that customers will love


Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, partner
expectations, performance, operational load, and commercial demands


Define creative, high
quality account development roadmaps based on the partnership strategy and
vision to expand relationships that drive Nokia’s ecosystem KPI’s and publisher


Collaborate in
cross-functional manner with internal stakeholders including Nokia product,
sales, marketing, GTM, Smartphones, Mobile Phones, Corporate Development, Legal
and Executive teams, to ensure end-to-end relationship management


Effectively evangelize
Nokia ecosystem products to Internet partners while providing expert, voice of
the customer feedback to product teams.


Work with MSFT BDM counterparts
for strategic accounts


Monitor and remain up to
date on the competitive landscape and technology developments


Support the Sales unit
and local market EDX team members with advice and support as required.


Open-minded, creative and goals-oriented with the
ability to challenge conventional thinking and approaches with
constructive/innovative ideas. Experience in mobile application partnerships,
Business Development, Marketing activities with an established senior level
relationship network in key partners.Passionate about creating innovative mobile
experiences to engage consumers and deliver value to partners. Capable of
leveraging analytical insights and financial modeling to bring bold ideas to
the table that drive growth of KPIs. Successful track record of working with
global brands based on the West Coast and Mobile Ecosystem with a established
network and proven delivery track record. Proven ability to collaborate with a
wide range of functions including sales and marketing teams. Sales skills as
both a hunter and harvester with an ability to act with diplomacy. Ability to
drive ideas and action with sales impact through a matrix organization.

Work with core functions to support and drive the content ecosystem to the
forefront of all Nokia activities. Functions include Marketing, GTM, Forum, Services,
Sales, Devices and Events, Nokia Publishing Partner Vertical Managers,
sourcing, legal, Business Affairs and Operations. Work in Partnership with all
Microsoft counterparts.
