The role of the Senior Payroll & HR Systems Analyst is to support business application systems and business processes. Specifically, we are seeking an experienced individual to support key Payroll and Human Resource processes as well as other corporate applications that share touch-points with employee records. Additionally, the role will actively participate in the processing of payroll. Responsibilities include:
Assist in administration of overall payroll process for US, Canadian, ex pat and other special payrolls.
Provide support for employees for all aspects of payroll processing and issues. Provide secondary support for benefit related matters.
Assist with payroll and tax related filings, registrations and compliance matters; consult with agencies and counsel as required on payroll related matters.
Maintains, processes and audits employee records.
Responsible for all required funding of payroll accounts.
Monitor and troubleshooting automated scheduled processes and interfaces.
Develop adhoc queries and reports in support of user community in both SAP and Cognos.
Provide first level support to end users of SAP HR including Employee and Manager Self Service, CATS (Time Entry) and Expense Reporting.
Review, analyze and evaluate business systems, business processes and user requirements.
Lead troubleshooting to resolve system/process problems.
Coordinate with corporate application team on problem resolution.
Provide business and technical expertise to the user community.
Assist with business unit configuration needs.
Write detailed descriptions of user needs, system processes, program functions and the steps required to modify them.
Work with corporate application teams and consultants to test and implement system changes.
Ensure compliance with established IT control policies.
Maintain basic knowledge of payroll and HR-related laws and practices.
Adhere to effective internal controls.
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years’ experience in payroll administration
5+ years’ experience supporting HR & Payroll systems
2+ years SAP experience including either Cross Application Time Sheet (CATS) and/or Travel and Expense.
Strong knowledge of IT concepts, practices, controls and procedures.
Knowledge of relational database concepts and structure.
Expertise in Windows MS Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical personnel.
Ability to perform variety of tasks and proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Demonstrated resourcefulness; ability to identify, analyze and assess problems for resolution.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
Experience in systems analysis and/or design.
Experience with Ultimate Software
Experience with Taleo Enterprise Edition
Experience with Aquire Org Publisher
Programming / Developer expertise specifically in
in SAP ABAP Queries or SQL based languages
Experience with VB.net and SQL Server
Experience with MS Access
