Job Description:
Provide senior level leadership in project management, performance improvement methods, and data analysis at an organizational, department, process and individual level. Manage all aspects of major projects and/or multiple large, complex projects in support of organizational strategic goals. Provides expertise and facilitates development of standardized approaches to create performance improvement plans, define appropriate tools, methodologies and metrics, analyze and interpret data, manage change and facilitate improvement teams. Mentors individuals and teams in improvement methods, project management, change management, group dynamics and planning methods. Selects and implements solutions and develops appropriate monitors and control plans to ensure implementation and hardwiring of improvement/change. Creates and presents project status updates to senior leadership. Identifies and removes barriers to project success or escalates to leadership when appropriate.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, nursing, quality management, health care, statistics or related disciplines
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Experience in quality management in a healthcare environment
  • 5 years project management including phases of project development, management and execution required
  • 5 years experience with performance improvement tools, methodologies, measures and analysis
Note: this experience can be concurrent

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Two of the following Required:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification orLean training and certification
  • PDSA (Plan, Do, Study, Act) experience
  • CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) or ASQ (American Society for Quality) Certification
  • Statistics coursework or experience
