Requirements: A BS in Civil or Petroleum Engineering or the equivalent along with a minimum of ten (10) years of natural gas pipeline and gas facilities design experience is required. A Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Engineer preferred. This position requires the ability to manage numerous projects and staff to complete plans, schedules, budget estimates, detailed design, reporting, specifications, sub-consultant management, permitting, etc. on large scale projects from the conceptual design stage through construction and commissioning.
Primary Responsibilities would include the oversight of design and permitting of numerous natural gas pipeline and natural gas liquids pipelines and compressor station and gas conditioning projects throughout the Marcellus and Utica Shale Basins.
Familiarity with computer applications and design software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3-D, Hydraulic Modeling with FlowMaster, MicroStation, all Microsoft applications is desired. Knowledge of various codes and jurisdictional requirements such as 49CRF192 & 195, ASME B31.3 & D, API 5L, etc required. Knowledge of cathodic protection for pipeline and plants and NACE certification a plus.
