MOS Lead Six Sigma Expert

Raytheon Mission Operation Solutions is currently seeking a Lead Six Sigma Expert responsible for optimizing the business through the execution and deployment of Raytheon Six Sigma throughout the MOS organization. Reporting to the Director of Quality & R6s, and as an extended member of MOS Leadership Team, the Lead Six Sigma Expert will provide leadership and direct support to the MOS LT. This includes worldwide program process improvement opportunity and 1700 employees to ensure R6s strategies are aligned with business objectives and goals, and ensure projects are in place to achieve results.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Acts as a catalyst for change in the drive to create new value for the organization

Leads the organization in the maturation of continuous and measurable improvement across the programs

Serves as technical consultant to program management concerning areas of organizational effectiveness in accomplishing strategic business and Customer objectives

Facilitates MOS strategic plan development and goal-setting

Assists in strategy and goal development and implementation at geographically dispersed sites in support of the overarching MOS Strategy

Provides expertise and support related to execution of new business pursuit processes and proposal development

Acts as lead and Change Agent to ensure R6s becomes the default toolset and approach for process improvement across the enterprise
Required Skills:

Must have a BS/BA degree in Engineering, Program Management, Business, Operations Research Organizational Effectiveness or other related discipline (Advanced degree desired)

Must be a Certified Raytheon Six Sigma Expert

Excellent verbal and written communication skills directed to senior levels in the organization.

Experience applying Six Sigma tools/methodologies and managing projects to deliver results

Proven leadership and excellent interpersonal skills are required with experience in leading matrix and multi-site teams to business results

Experience in applying organizational effectiveness and change management methodologies

Demonstrated success interfacing with Leadership Teams to establish plans to implement strategic focus and facilitate organizational activities (LT forums, off-sites, strategic planning sessions)

Ability to influence others; directly lead and drive organizational change

Significant experience engaging with Customers and building relationships of trust

Must be available for domestic and international travel
Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. Active TS/SCI Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship desired.

Desired Skills:

Raytheon Program Leadership Certification Level 6

Demonstrated leadership ability in leading geographically separated teams and managing dispersed virtual projects

Adept at communicating with all levels within and outside the company, with proven ability to prepare and deliver presentations, both verbal and written, which address the intended audience

Must excel in planning and prioritization skills while demonstrating flexibility and the ability to multi-task
Required Education (including Major):
