Primary Characteristics
Manages the key functions necessary to create and publish new or enhanced residential mortgage products for EverBank’s multiple production channels.

Essential Functions
  • Manage the implementation of new product releases to all production channels within targeted deadlines
  • Coordinate and manage weekly status updates with multiple departments to ensure required assignments are met in a timely manner
  • Works independently with investors to understand contractual obligations regarding product and credit parameters for all mortgage products
  • Research and resolve post-closing credit policy-related functions such as: investor audits, suspense issues, third party QC responses, etc
  • Assist with the review of policies of procedures relating to corporate credit policy. Suggest improvements and efficiencies when identified
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; shares knowledge clearly and appropriately
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage complex projects and mentor other staff
  • Working knowledge of database and spreadsheet management skills
  • Conceptual understanding of various stages of mortgage origination (application, processing, underwriting, closing, post closing, shipping & secondary marketing) and how they interrelate
  • Broad knowledge of the mortgage banking origination process, including a working knowledge of government and conventional underwriting guidelines
Training and Experience
  • 5+ years mortgage production experience, preferably in loan processing or underwriting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
