- Social Advertising Products (Title flexible)
My client is currently searching for a seasoned senior product manager to drive the growth and wide scale adoption of their powerful social advertising platform. This role is essential to expanding the range of services they provide to their advertisers and publishers, and it is also crucial to their continued success in achieving and exceeding their aggressive business objectives. Their ideal candidate will exhibit significant hands-on product management experience, business savvy, and a solid understanding of the technologies that fuel online ad serving.
As a senior leader responsible for social advertising products you will be responsible for innovation and development of a set of world-class ad products powered by their proprietary social audience data. You will guide development through all stages of the product lifecycle, from identification of customer needs through launch and support, working closely with a cross-organizational team of rock stars in engineering, ad operations, publisher services, sales and marketing. You will be responsible for building and driving the product roadmap, working closely with senior management to support achievement of company business objectives.

? Develop, maintain and prioritize the feature roadmap for their social advertising products, with the goal of driving substantial revenue growth, and advertiser adoption
? Translate business needs and requirements into design concepts and functional specs, and work closely with their design, development, operations and QA teams to realize successful product releases.
? Serve as the resident expert on the current and evolving automated media buying ecosystem (exchanges, DSPs, DMPs) and innovative ways in which advertising can be delivered in the use of various mediums - display, video, mobile, etc.
? Work with the VP of product and other executive team members to help set product development priorities for the company.
? Manage project schedules and dependencies, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
? Keep track of the competitive landscape in the rapidly changing social media and advertising arena, and identify key issues impacting their product pipeline.
o 5 years of direct product management experience, working hand-in-hand with engineering teams
o Minimum of a B.S. in software related discipline, MBA preferred
o Prior experience hiring and managing a team of product managers
o Deep technical knowledge of online advertising
o Proven experience with launching successful ad products for brands & direct-response advertisers
o Familiarity with working in an agile software development environment
o Established track record of preparing MRDs and FSDs
o Self-starter with prior start-up experience and the interest, ability and energy to work in a fast-paced environment
o Proven expertise in managing aggressive and dynamic projects with competing resources and priorities; firm sense of accountability and ownership across the entire product lifecycle, with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development, and launch
o Passion for conceiving, designing, building, and shipping amazing products that work great the first time out the door
o Excellent written and verbal communications skills
o Sharp sense of humor, including the ability to laugh at yourself!
