Be a key part of the solution management team for the airline industry’s leading codeshare management and slot management solutions.
Work as part of the Marketing and Solutions Management team responsible for Codeshare Manager and Slot Manager. Initially with a focus on Codeshare Manager, but eventually also covering Slot Manager.
Determine marketplace needs for new features that provide value to users and make our solutions more competitive. Keep up with industry trends and anticipate future business needs.
Develop detailed functional specifications for improvements/enhancements which address business problems faced by our users.
Work closely with development teams to ensure system developments meet user needs and solve user problems.
Update solution descriptions with enhancement descriptions as part of the release process.
Conduct internal and external demonstrations on new features in development prior to release.
Review release notes for accuracy and usefulness to end users.
Support new business development by conducting demos on-site or on-line to potential customers.
Support responses to RFPs/RFIs.
Participate in periodic user executive committee conference calls and occasional in-person meetings.
Present at user conferences once a year. Demonstrate features at user conferences and user workshops.
Help prioritize customer reported defects for fixes.
Interact with customer care and delivery teams to help resolve customer issues requiring business expertise.
Occasional domestic and international travel to customer sites, development centers, conferences and/or potential customer sites.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
This position requires strong a minimum of 2 years of experience synchronizing marketing and operating flights with codeshare partners and publishing schedules with codeshare flights to reservations systems and GDSs. This includes experience with codeshare management and flight scheduling systems from Sabre or other providers.
Must be able to articulate the business needs related to synchronizing codeshare schedules with partners and publishing them as part of airline flight schedules.
Must be familiar with SSIM formats for communicating schedule information.
Experience with airline slot management is a plus but not mandatory.
