We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and execute the product and technology vision for both the day-to-day life cycle management of the product portfolio as well as for the near-term and long-term enhancement of the products within the portfolio, with goals to increase profitable revenue and gross margin, decrease cost, and improve market share, customer satisfaction and retention.

Specific accountabilities include, but are not limited to :
Set the vision and execute upon that vision for the assigned product portfolio

Develop and execute upon the product roadmap

Apply a thorough understanding of competition in setting product strategies

Manage the introduction and entire life cycle of the products within the portfolio

Establish revenue forecasts and margin criteria for assigned products and create financial models to establish Product business case, gross margin levels and ROI

Achieve defined financial and operational objectives for assigned products.
Report on KPI’s for the product portfolio

Launch new features and products to drive profitable revenue and margin growth, and create differentiation for the Company

Set pricing, which includes product bundles, discount levels, and term pricing

Write and maintain product documentation and coordinate development of product collateral with the Marketing Communications team

Understand customer requirements through direct interaction with customers, agents and Sales teams and by reviewing customer preference data

Work with sales management to define sales channel structure, selling strategies, sales tools and compensation for new product lines

Work with Engineering, Operations and Sales Support groups to define methods and procedures for proposal, order booking, provisioning and billing.
The Product Manager is accountable for standard contract language, service levels and escalation process

Develop, introduce and track promotions in collaboration with Strategic Marketing and Field Marketing

Optimize product-related processes

Oversee product technical trials. Run and manage market trials

Establish product installation intervals
Coordinate product training and assist in developing training content

Negotiate agreements with suppliers

Review and approve all non-standard products

Support SPR in developing custom-priced solutions

Provide subject matter expertise in support of RFP/RFI responses

Communicate product strategy and direction throughout the Company

Support field sales through customer visits, participation in trade shows, white papers, training, customer testimonials and competitive knowledge

Define sales channels and sales incentive treatment

Excellent writing, presentation, and analytical skills

Superb project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, anticipate needs, and plan accordingly

The ability to work across organizational boundaries with a wide-range of team members of varying levels and foster agreement and a common purpose among the entire project team

Demonstrated high productivity

A thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape is required

Must be detail-oriented and possess exceptional organizational and time management skills

Experience and understanding of managerial and financial account principals

Working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint

10+ years experience in a product management or marketing role within a telecommunications or related technology company

Thorough knowledge of voice, data, and cloud computing technologies

Must have a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies in unified communications as a service (UCAAS)

Masters degree in business (MBA) or technology concentration (MS) is required
