The Role

Stella & Dot is looking for an entrepreneurial and seasoned product manager to drive our social selling product roadmap. Product Managers at Stella & Dot work on groundbreaking social selling initiatives that have significant revenue impact for the business and life changing impact for our Stylists. Our products are designed to delight our customers and make our Stylists more productive. You will be a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record of delivering consumer facing commerce & community features. This role reports to the VP of Product and is based in San Bruno, CA.


Lead the ideation, design, development, and launch of consumer and Stylist facing social selling initiatives, including CRM, social/community, mobile and commerce features

Set product strategy, plan short-term and long-term product improvements to meet business goals, and measure success using product health metrics and user feedback

Work closely with Marketing, Technology, Operations and User Experience teams to ensure high quality customer experience is delivered. Take lead responsibility for decisions with regard to feature/timeline tradeoffs, user interface and customer experience, and all other product related decisions

Serve as the voice of the customer and our Stylists, and be an advocate within the company regarding product decisions that will impact the customer experience

Apply a structured approach to product management including the use of analytics to justify decisions, measure project success, and optimize performance

Write clear, concise Product Requirements documents and/or user stories and partner with UX and visual designers to develop user centered wireframes and designs

Lead agile product development process including backlog grooming, sprint planning & prioritization sessions and daily stand-ups

Ensure alignment of engineering effort with overall company objectives and strategy

Required Skills

5-7 years of Product Management experience in the consumer web industry

Mobile experience and understanding of responsive web design a plus

Motivated self-starter with the drive to use whatever intensity is required to solve critical issues

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to think strategically but execute with an attention to detail

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Bachelors Degree from a top tier school - Computer Science or Engineering degree preferred
