The Senior Program Manager will lead a multi-functional support business team in planning and executing requisitions and NPI contracts, develop program plans that meet business and customer needs. In this role, you will communicate program needs, status, manage complex issues, and risk ensure adequate mitigation plans are in place to assure delivery. In this role, you will:
Develop / own program execution strategies & execute overall Program operating plan while meeting /exceeding customer and business requirements (Schedule, Cost, Margin, Contract Management)
Take Leadership role cross functionally to align activities, deliverables, and manage risk
Support process improvements which guide program execution and supply chain activities
Communicate effectively both within immediate team and GE leadership. Ensure team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results
Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs), sales leaders, and customer leaders across GLO business to align business strategy and program needs
Be responsible for timely execution of commercial contracts and technology transfer
Provide overall program leadership in balancing customer requirements with GE capabilities and requirements
Minimum of 5 years of lead project / program management
Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering / manufacturing / services of heavy equipment
Ability and willingness to travel as required

Master Degree (MBA) in a related engineering discipline
Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certified (GE Employees only)
Demonstrated contract management ability
Demonstrated ability to deal with customers and suppliers at senior levels (Internal & External)
Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
Outstanding program management skills
Ability to develop program plans, manage within schedule and budget, manage risk and develop business acceptable solutions
Proactive responsible individual, able to set own action plans
High energy level with ability to energize others
Effective oral and written communicator
