This individual will serve as the Senior Program Security Officer, functioning as the Facility Security Officer (FSO), Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) at Textron Systems Geospatial Solutions in Sterling, VA. The individual will work closely with various Government Agencies and Program Offices to submit access nominations, process personnel paperwork, administer indoctrinations, accomplish weekly computer audits, and security education and training. Other responsibilities include document control, visit requests, physical security and COMSEC Custodian. The individual will be the primary POC for the accreditation, inspection, and maintenance of the cleared facilities as well as the alarms and access control system.
Individual must be able to train personnel in the areas of document control, classification management, and the storage and handling of classified material. This individual will be the point of contact for all SOPs, SPPs and SCIF policies with the organization so they must have the ability to understand technical program information/data and its operations.
This position requires a highly motivated, well organized, self-starter who enjoys being challenged.
• US Citizenship and current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
•Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a security professional with at least7 years as an FSO or CSSO supporting the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs. Must have working knowledge of the NISPOM, DCIDs, and ICDs.
•Develop, submit for approval and implement security policy for the company in accordance with government policies and regulations.
•Provides Industrial Security guidance to Human Resources Department, Recruiting, Senior Management and advise Corporate Vice President as required.
• Conducts Security clearance pre-screening interviews.
• Candidate must possess excellent speaking, writing, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Candidate must be skilled in managing complex situations, a demonstrated ability to plan, organize, work, and meet deadlines.
• Candidate must be able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments concurrently.
• Candidate must have experience with classified computer systems and have working knowledge of NISPOM and ICD requirements.
• Candidate should have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
•Candidate must have attended the DSS Basic Facility Officers Course and FSO Program Management Course or equivalent.
•Candidate must have SCIF management experience ie., combination changes, security container acquisition and maintenance; SCIF certifications.
•Conduct onsite assessments and inquiries into security and computer related incidents and investigations in assigned facility.
•Information Systems Security Training is a plus.
• Prefer Associate Degree or higher
