Adecco Engineering and Technical is searching for a Project Engineer with experience in the Aerospace/Aero-structural Industry. This position will be in the Chula Vista area on a 12month contract.
Job Responsibilities:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating technical and program activities, including the scheduling of necessary data and documentation that support manufacturing schedules.
This candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering presentations that effectively communicate the company’s project management activities, including issues and the related mitigation plans.
He/She will coordinate manufacturing and procurement activities in support of program objectives utilizing visual management tools such as MS Project.
The Project Engineer will interface with customers and internal engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain personnel for the purpose of managing program schedules on an on-going basis.
Performance of the above is as a technical expert, dealing with difficult technical problems and providing limited direction.
Basic Qualifications:
BS Degree and eight years of Project Engineering experience or MS and five years' experience
Ability to work in a diverse environment that promotes teamwork to accomplish tasks
Strong PC Skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills are essential for this position
Basic knowledge of structural design & analysis and a basic understanding of engineering and supplier project management experience preferred
Knowledge of aerospace technical deliverables and technical data is preferred
