The Sr. Project Lead – AD will be the "Solution Owner" providing representative leadership for development, deployment, integration, and data migration. In addition, this resource will manage all of the related IT processes, deployment, and business/operational readiness tasks.
Gathering and understanding business requirements.
Develop and maintain positive client relationships, coordinating with various functions to ensure requests are handled efficiently.
Work with Acumen to define and leverage their change management process, during the engagement and for support (beyond the product-centric Salesforce.com support).
Special attention needs to be paid to security, since Salesforce.com is an SAAS (software as a service) provider: need to make sure we have the right people involved and a plan in place for service invocation (our SOA to the SFDC Apex SOA).
Manages large and/or complex applicationdelivery projects.
May act as program manager on multi-project activities.
Follows approved SDLC and project management methodology, ensuring that all required steps are followed, all required deliverables are produced, and all approvals are obtained.
Accountable for directing work effort of staff assigned to project or program.
Owns project/program issue resolution and risk management.
Manages and oversees the full system development process, and turnover to production.
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project planning, tracking and analysis.
Maintains regular contact with clients.
Coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments.
Provides technical and analytical support and guidance to project team members.
Assists in developing vendor statements of work, deliverables and SLAs.
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred, or if no degree, 8 years of equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in a project leadership role
5 years of SDLC and Application Development experience
5 years of experience and demonstrated leadership of a team in the successful delivery of technical solutions
1 year of experience working with onshore and offshore consultants
4+ years of experience in a professional Salesforce.com background
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
CRM development configuration and customization or workflow experience
Previous experience working with internal and external clients
Experience utilizing analysis skills
Insurance industry experience
Previous international experience
MS Office; Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
Ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel
