Senior Project Manager

The Strategic Project Manager serves as an operational leader within the Reagent Manufacturing team. The primary focus of the role is to optimize and/or build systems and processes to ensure that the team executes its strategy and operates in a cohesive manner. The Strategic Project Manager will plan and execute projects having an internal focus from initiation through delivery. Examples may include manufacturing site moves & equipment validation planning, enabling clinical readiness (GMP practices), and representing Reagent Manufacturing on New Product Introduction (NPI) teams. The Strategic Project Manager will organize cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project while adhering to budget, scope and schedule requirements. Specific focus areas include:

Define and prioritize new initiatives and opportunities, recommend next steps and delegate/ensure follow up as needed.

Ensure linkage between strategy, operations plans, projects, and key metrics. Assist with goal definition, alignment, and deployment.

Track projects, deliverables, critical issues, and action items; follow up to ensure completion to schedule.

Coordinate, prepare and/or drive Reagent Manufacturing deliverables for Quarterly Reviews, All-Hands Meetings, strategic planning process, budgeting, etc.

Serve as the Reagent Manufacturing interface to key strategic or corporate initiatives.

Run forward-looking agenda and ensure that preparation and follow up takes place to ensure CPK Site meetings are actionable and decision oriented.

Presentation development, including research and background preparation; communications prep and review.

Preferred Background

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Applied Science preferred.

7+ years of Operations background; Experience in an FDA-regulated environment with biotech consumables, medical devices and/or the deployment of Quality Systems and process controls; Knowledge and working application of risk analysis and standard operating procedures; Ability to multi-task and methodically manage projects; Influential and credible with both technical and commercial staff, as well as management; Experience working in leadership positions at “best in class†operations organizations; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Advanced level of experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint; Experience managing projects and driving metrics.
