Primary Responsibilities
In your role as Senior Project / Program Manager you will own and manage the coordination and scheduling of multiple projects and product deliverables for deployment in our production environment, and also marketplace or customer deliveries.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Creating and managing detailed WBS and release schedules;
2. Coordinating cross-functional project team deliverables;
3. Identifying and managing dependencies and risks;
4. Ensuring tasks get done in a timely fashion;
5. Keeping all stakeholders fully informed of release status and progress;
6. Driving best practices and tracking metrics for process improvement and increasing execution efficiency.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Project Management, you will work closely with Project and Product Managers, development leads, as well as Quality Assurance teams and other functional groups. You will be responsible for ON TIME releases and for communicating any delays to executive management, and hosting periodic program reviews for the organization.

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications *** Must have Hands on Software Development Background*** The ideal candidate is an energetic, organized and detail-driven person with 3 or more years of software engineering experience, plus 3-5+ years of project, program or release management experience. Experience in mobile applications and high volume web services is preferred.

A proven track record of leading or managing multiple simultaneous projects, an understanding of common software development methodologies, expertise in project management best practices and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira are required. You must possess good written and interpersonal communication skills, relationship building skills, and collaboration skills across diverse cross-functional teams.

A passion for excellence is a must, as is the ability (and preference!) to work at a fast-paced, energetic company. CS or BS degree is required. Formal training in project management, program management and/or release management, as well as knowledge and experience of Agile, Scrum, or other methodologies is preferred.
