SurveyMonkey is the world's largest survey company, but there's really much more to us than that. We're a smart, passionate group of people who work hard to deliver the best survey experience on the planet, period. We do this because we believe everyone deserves easy access to the insights and information they need to make better, more informed decisions.
We like to think of ourselves as a grown up start up. Despite our incredible growth over the past 10 years, we are still small and nimble. Everyone plays an impactful role; and when we say good ideas can come from anyone, we mean it.
We help customers collect over 2+ million online survey responses daily. SurveyMonkey is trusted by millions of customers, including 99% of the Fortune 500, as well as other businesses, academic institutions and organizations of all shapes and sizes.
If this sounds like home to you, and you're ready to make your work matter to millions, we'd love to meet you.
Python Developer for SurveyMonkey Audience
The SurveyMonkey HQ is in Palo Alto, CA, but the coolest kids are in the Seattle office, which is located downtown near Pike Place Market.
The Seattle office (among other things) works on SurveyMonkey Audience, our rapidly growing panel research business which will completely change the face of market research. Unlike other panel companies, we don’t spam our users, and we generate hundreds of thousands of dollars of donations a year to dozens of worthy charities. The code is green-field, and there are some seriously hard engineering problems we need your help tackling.
We write Python code that runs on Ubuntu Linux. The team is composed of practical-minded collaborators with broad skill sets, not cowboy programmers who work in isolation. A lot of time is spent discussing the product’s user and business needs, doing spec and code reviews, whiteboarding, and thinking through our long-term growth strategy. Most of the team comes from a startup background, including several folks who started and sold their own companies.
Perks include frequent lunches; a bus pass, parking, or $$ if you bike (encouraged!); the flexibility to telecommute one day a week; a generous vacation policy; competitive heath care benefits; stock which will actually be worth something; and lots of other great things.
