Responsible for leading the software testing lifecycle for software development projects, including conducting software application testing prior to deployment to the clients' health care facilities, home offices, and management offices.

Responsible for delivering Quality Assurance functions that ensure the quality of internally and externally developed software and services.
Work with project leaders and developers to provide input into functional requirements, design specifications, and impact analysis.
Document, validate, and test business process functionality.
Support high priority requests from the development team or business team to support resolution of production problems.
Provide QA estimates; log tasks, and track progress in EPM when applicable.
Develop and write test strategies, test cases; conduct functional, integration, and regression testing; document issues and defects, and track resolution of software defects.
Assist with UAT as necessary and support the beta of software test sites; assist with implementation, when necessary.
Customize, maintain, and manage internally developed and commercial testing tools.
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts utilizing test automation tools.
Assist QA Manager in researching, proposing, and implementing QA testing software.
Assist QA Manager with resource allocation and assignments.
Support HIPAA and other accreditation preparation processes.
Support various internal teams to review web content, documentation, and training materials.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and deliverables.
Mentor junior team members in QA best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned and consistent with level of preparation and experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or related field.
Minimum five years experience in software testing, preferably in long-term health care, using automated or internally developed tools and structured techniques. Quality Assurance or software testing certification and demonstration of thorough testing is required. Minimum two years experience working with testing tools, including HP Quality Center, Quick Test Pro (QTP), TestPartner. Experience with database structure and design; intermediate experience with SQL and writing and executing SQL commands and queries.

Strong oral and written communication skills. Must exhibit excellent analysis skills and be able to exchange ideas and results with developers. Proven documentation and reporting skills. Must be a solid team player, able to work with other QA Analysts, developers, system engineers, and managers in a dynamic, changing environment. Must be a self-motivated, self starting individual who can communicate test results and findings to all levels of staff and management.
Ability to recognize, understand, document and present logical conditions and combinations of conditions in software, which require testing through the creation, presentation, and processing of computer data. Ability to determine errors or the absence of errors in the software in order to understand or articulate the features and functions of the software.
