Position Overview:
The Senior Quality Analyst is a highly specialized role within the Xerox Litigations Services’ Operations department.

Analysts in this position are responsible for ownership of complicated or unique projects. These nearly always entail the use of advanced SQL to perform in-depth data analysis of remediation projects or specialized reports requested by our clients.

The work requires not only excellent technical skills, but exceptional judgment to translate test plans into correct and efficient analysis. Periodically, the Analyst may be called on to take a leadership role in special projects.

Since XLS has many customers and processes high volumes, the job requires a focus on technical know-how, efficiency, hard work and managing many priorities simultaneously.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
Take primary responsibility for Quality Assurance of complex, non-pipeline work

Make accurate and timely posts to our work request tracking system Exercise Quality Assurance best practices to author, evaluate and execute test plans

Provide diagnostic feedback to operations analysts

Support other Quality Assurance analysts with technical knowledge

Work with other departments to resolve issues associated with specific jobs

Work closely with team members to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manor

Work closely with management on high priority and special projects

Periodically lead small teams in Quality Assurance of large projects

Provides thorough documentation of special testing projects

Coordinate with other Analysts and Database Administrators to stay informed of new developments in our work load and architecture

Adhere to XLS operational guidelines and processes, to ensure work is done consistently

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree

Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills

Basic to Intermediate PERL/DBI or PL/SQL skills

Strong communication skills and active listening skills

Strong team work ethic – willing to jump in to assist others and willing to put in extra hours to meet critical deadlines

Accountability, ownership and commitment to quality and deadlines

An independent worker who will take the initiative to ensure goals are met

Ability to work under pressure with changing objectives and deadlines

Proven analytical skills and independent thinking

Highly reliable and organized with strong attention to detail

Ideal Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science
