The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will be charged with managing the Quality Assurance processes for the Enrollment Management Technology division. This division focuses on delivering cloud-based solutions to the higher education community to assist with Enrollment Management, Admissions and Recruitment. QA resources are staffed using outsource/crowdsource services already under contract. The person in this position will manage that relationship, develop detailed testing plans, manage the testing process, and communicate with others on the development team. This position requires project management skills to effectively manage complex test scenarios, various internal and external resources, and detailed documentation.


Reports to: Vice President, Enrollment Technology Development

Supervises: N/A

  • Manage relationship with external vendors for outsourced QA process.
  • Composing detailed test plans
  • Project management related to test cycles and reporting results
  • Work with development to understand new functionality and develop appropriate test scenarios
  • Consult with development team, technical support team and services team to identify and document functional software requirements used in the development of testing requirements
  • Present test tracking results and issue reports to the development teams
  • Work with infrastructure resources to maintain and update the QA testing environments
  • Utilize and write documentation through tools provided in the Knowledge Base and other resources
  • Prioritize testing needs for optimal performance based on the priorities set by product teams

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Licenses/Certifications, Skills and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, other technical or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of previous software quality assurance experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and deliver results on aggressive timelines
  • Infrequent light physical effort required
  • Must be able to work in an environment where the noise level is moderate

  • Experience with outsourced QA/testing resources
  • Experience working in Higher Education, Enrollment Management or Admissions
  • Experience with ERP applications, Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other CRM solutions
