The engineering candidate will support the manufacturing of military electronic equipment to ensure the product is reliable and robust.
This candidate will work in the Reliability Engineering group and will perform individually and within a team environment.
Responsibilities include monitoring production line and field returns for failures (obtaining and testing failed hardware), data collecting for trend analysis (including database entry), compiling failure reports (both customer style and internal for upper management), performing failure analysis to determine root cause and corrective actions (this includes working with vendors, subcontractors, failure analysis labs, circuit analysis, mechanical analysis, and use of lab equipment) and presenting findings to other team members (weekly Product Support Team meetings and monthly Quality Council meetings to upper management.
The candidate may also at times perform Reliability and Maintainability failure rate (MTBF) predictions, analyses, failure modes effects analysis, circuit stress analysis, product safety analysis and generating reports to document these analyses.
The candidate may also at times assist in performing reliability tests and maintainability demonstration tests. Required Education:

Statistics and Probability, problem investigation and analysis leading to recommending corrective actions, computer skills including TipQA and PDM, presentation skills, and knowledge of ISR products Preferred Skills:

A Master's Degree and three (3) years experience is also acceptable
