As a Senior Research Analyst for the Marketing Effectiveness Research team, you will contribute to the success of Adobe through primary qualitative and quantitative market research studies that will help transform adobe.com into a website that will more effectively sell our products and serve and retain our customers.
Establish operational research project objectives, strategies, methodologies and milestones to support corporate marketing decision making related to adobe.com effectiveness and satisfaction.
Review business objectives with internal partners and management, and translate into a cost-effective and appropriate research design and methods recommendation.
Manage outside research firms to complete projects on time and within budget.
Manage a range of projects, from the ongoing Sitewide Visitor Satisfaction and Direct Purchaser studies, to more targeted quantitative and qualitative usability studies.
Identify and use appropriate statistical and analytic techniques to support quantitative and qualitative research findings and recommendations.
Effectively communicate findings to all levels within the organization.
Actively work to influence the adoption of the recommendations.
Minimum 3-5 years applied market research experience, preferably in high tech.
Experience with primary research methods which inform website strategy and measure website effectiveness strongly desired.
Usability research expertise a plus.
Experience using web analytics (e.g., SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, Yahoo Analytics) in conjunction with primary research a plus.
MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
Strong analytical skills and exceptional problem solving abilities. Focus on business decision insight. Good intuition with numbers and experience synthesizing disparate and sometimes contradictory information.
Qualitative and quantitative primary research skills required, including designing studies, crafting surveys, analyzing data, and developing insightful reports.
SPSS knowledge required.
Effective project and organization skills, including managing projects that have aggressive timelines and can sometimes be complex.
Communication skills to provide clear, actionable reports and presentations to various constituencies at various levels of the organization.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a diverse team and build cooperative, productive relationships with internal partners and vendors.
