Sr. Research Associate
Temporary Senior Research Associate, Bioanalytical. The qualified individual will be responsible for the development, implementation and running of various bioanalytical assays to support pre-clinical and clinical development of product candidates. Studies will include both non-GLP bioanalytical assay development, assay support for GLP pharmacology and toxicology as well as for clinical studies, and technical transfer of assays to Contract Research Organizations (CROs) when appropriate.
The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, optimization, qualification and implementation of bioanalytical assays. The scope will include planning and execution of various types of assay systems (e.g. enzymatic assays, immunoassays, antibody characterization assays, biochemical assays, possibly qPCR) to quantify drug in various matrices and/or characterize antibody responses to the drug. The individual must be able to work independently with general direction from supervisor to meet corporate goals and objectives. A successful candidate must be able to analyze results and troubleshoot assay performance, prepare, test and qualify critical analytical reagents; document work in laboratory notebooks in a thorough and timely fashion; and author technical reports and/or standard operating procedures.
Significant knowledge and hands on experience with analytical method development and troubleshooting of immunoassay techniques, ELISA, and ligand binding assays. Experience with electrochemiluminescent (ECL, e.g. Meso Scale Discovery platform) and other techniques such as Western blotting, affinity purification and/or RNA isolation considered a plus.
The ability to independently design, execute and interpret experiments in order to generate technical reports

Experience in regulated/compliant laboratory environment is desirable
