The Senior Research Technologist in the Pathology Department operates as an advanced-level Research Technologist by assisting the principal investigator with the data collection and analysis for research projects. Our laboratory is interested in using high-resolution genomic approaches (RNA and whole genome sequencing) to identify novel genomic aberrations in different types of pediatric lymphoma and subsequently investigate the biological mechanisms by which these alterations contribute to lymphomagenesis.
The Senior Research Technologist would be responsible for maintenance of instrumentation in the lab, the development and optimization of research protocols, and will do other duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department. (MJP)
