Engauge is looking for a driven and highly-skilled Senior Researcher to join our growing Strategy team! This position requires expertise in Human Psychology, Research Design and Data Analysis. A 4-year degree in Psychology, Sociology, Marketing, Communications or other related field from an accredited university is preferred. If this sounds like you, read on hellip; Responsibilities: • As a key member of our Strategy team, work with Brand Planners and Connections Strategists to develop key insights to fuel cross-disciplinary briefings • Understand and translate internal needs and/or client objectives into a sound research approach • Perform research functions for full suite of qualitative offerings (including focus groups, competitive analysis, IDIs, triads, ethnography, OBB, etc.) • Perform research functions for full suite of quantitative offerings (including methodology recommendation, survey design, implementation, data analysis, etc.) • Perform online social listening to understand consumer conversations relative to a topic, category or brand • Use emerging digital research methods for answering complex questions (ex.

mobile, message boards, etc.) • Complete findings analysis and produce client deliverables • Train and educate junior team members on various research techniques and methodologies • Maintain research vendor relationships and research participant database • Continually educate internal Engauge team on the value of research in fueling brand and marketing decisions • Proactively share secondary findings, relevant to assigned clients or verticals, with internal team members Background/Competencies: • 4-year degree in Psychology, Sociology, or related field from an accredited university is required. Emphasis in Research Methodology and Data Analysis is strongly preferred. • 3-5 years of work experience in corporate environment (agency experience a plus) • A solid foundation both qualitative and quantitative methods. • Demonstrated ability to effectively teach, train and mentor junior level members on research practices and methodologies • Direct experience with primary research (qualitative " quantitative), syndicated research (i.e., Nielsen/IRI, NPD), and secondary research (i.e., Mintel).

  • Experience using online social listening tools preferred. • Must possess strong critical thinking and creative problem solving skills. • Detail oriented, independent, organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced agency environment. • Interested in the comprehensive marketing process, and understands the role research plays in each phase.
  • Is proficient in MS Word, MS Powerpoint and MS Excel • Ability to travel up to 25%.
