The Senior Revenue and Reporting Analyst will be a strong individual contributor for the new Revenue and Reporting Team. The individual will be involved with the revenue close and formulation of revenue recognition assumptions. In addition, the individual will assist in the preparation of SEC filings and the research and documentation of technical issues.


Support the month-end close for revenue in accordance with US GAAP and Ruckus policies by reviewing customer orders and shipment/sales reports, completing relative selling price allocations in accordance with EITF 08-1, and performing month-end account reconciliations.

Formulate revenue recognition assumptions, including VSOE and BESP.

Summarize the accounting treatment for significant or unusual revenue transactions.

Work with Finance, Accounting, Operations and Sales to understand the current sales transactions and the impact of future business initiatives.

Assist auditors by providing support for revenue transactions and selling price assumptions and by preparing analytical discussions of results.

Document and develop processes to improve performance and efficiencies.


Assist in the preparation of the Company’s SEC filings.

Prepare technical memos for significant or unusual transactions.

Assist in PBC coordination and the resolution of audit questions.

Prepare financial statement analytics for management reporting and audit purposes.

Assist in the preparation of Sarbanes-Oxley narratives and flowcharts.

Candidates for this position must have a minimum of 3-4 years relevant experience which includes at least three years of public accounting experience, preferably Big Four audit experience. A CPA license (or licensure in process) is preferred. Candidates should also possess/exhibit the following:

Proficient knowledge of US GAAP requirements, including revenue recognition (EITF 08-1, SOP 97-2) and SEC reporting requirements.

Detail oriented, well organized, with the ability to manage a variety of recurring duties as well as actively contribute to new projects. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen to the needs of others, research and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present findings as well as recommendations in both oral and written presentations.

Ability and desire to learn new skills or improve existing capabilities, including technology.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
