Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a self- motivated Risk Management professional to add to our growing team. You will assist Corporate Risk Manager and other Risk Management colleagues in providing daily support to our business areas, working in partnership with various business partners to develop solutions to new or routine business related challenges.

To be successful in this position the ideal candidate will have experience working for a rapidly growing or very dynamic organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience working for an Aerospace Company in their Risk Management department, or handling the Risk Management needs of Aerospace clients from a large Insurance Broker or Insurance Company perspective.
CIC, CRM or other Aviation insurance designations highly preferred.



Ten years progressive corporate risk / operational risk management, and/or business insurance experience is required.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations that may require an immediate decision or limited information is essential for success in this position.

Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest standard of ethics and integrity.

Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and very strong analytical abilities.

Self motivation, with the ability to prioritize and work within a demanding environment.
The ideal candidate must be organized, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Requires the ability to handle sensitive information, and to act with discretion and judgment while maintaining confidentiality.
The successful candidate must be able to work individually, however will be a “team player”.

Must be dedicated, high adaptable, highly dependable, punctual and able to work regularly scheduled work hours. Must be able to travel, and work overtime with little notice.
Power User of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The ability to create and maintain spreadsheets including detailed formulas and logic is required.

Use knowledge of company policies, standards and procedures to provide support to SNC programs.

This position will require a security clearance.
