Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering or a related discipline required;
Master’s degree in Safety Engineering or a safety related discipline preferred;
Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in oil & gas required; 10 or more years preferred;
HAZWOPER/ICS certification and emergency response experience preferred;
Advanced facilitation skills in process hazard analysis, job hazard analysis incident investigation and H&S program development required;
Strong working knowledge of State and Federal safety regulations required;
Strong knowledge of oil & gas production, compression, and pipeline operations required;
Effective training skills required;
Effective problem solving and facilitation skills required;
Travel and frequent field interaction required;
Ability to prioritize and execute multiple, simultaneous tasks required;
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Word) required;
Valid driver’s license with good driving record required;
Ability to travel required.
