The primary focus of the Sr. Account Executive is to generate revenue growth for the Station by emphasizing the value of the audience we reach. Responsible for the retention of current business and the development of new business as evidenced by the attainment of sales goals in two areas: Total Revenue (defined as all revenue billed by salesperson), and Emphasis Revenue (defined by Management as high priority revenue). Responsible for special projects that generate new business. Accomplishes objectives by building strong relationships, thoroughly understanding the business objectives and advertising strategies of clients, and by finding ways to help them achieve their objectives through the effective use of advertising. Overcomes obstacles, continuously improves client relationships, and increases revenue by fully leveraging the Station's unique advantages. Contact local direct advertisers and local advertising agencies as a liaison between the station and the advertising community.
Strong negotiation skills. Must enjoy selling FOX programming. Candidate must have at least 2-3 years broadcasting sales experience (radio or TV).
