Cie Games is looking for a Senior Game Designer with extensive game development experience to help define our upcoming social media and mobile applications.
The Senior Game Designer must be both an outstanding game designer and a hands-on creative team member who can lead and mentor a group of talented designers and developers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Producers and Creative Director to develop ideas for game content
Define systems and balance in-game resources and economy to ensure player’s long term retention and to optimize monetization.
Possess the ability to design, evaluate, tweak and balance the fine details of the game mechanics on a day-to-day basis
Integrate findings from quantitative data and A/B test results and constantly strive to improve the design.
Provide and receive critiques in a constructive manner with suggestions and solutions for improvement.
Manage pricing of virtual goods, balance free vs. paid currency in the game economy
Design game features that compel, monetize and re-engage players
Balance customer experience and revenue opportunity for coins and virtual goods
Participate in creating and maintaining the overall vision of the game
Must be able to work cooperatively with artists and programmers to see the design vision implemented through to completion
Conceptualize, create and maintain detailed game design documentation throughout the project cycle
Coordinate with QA and provide test specifications
Remain current on industry trends including: new game genres, new game design methods and emerging platforms.
REQUIREMENTS
3 to 5 years of development experience required
Must be an avid gamer with strong interest in pushing the genre forward creatively
Demonstrable success in creating compelling (fun, commercially viable, and critically-acclaimed) game-play, scenarios, activities, and encounters
Intense creativity, a passion to innovate, and the drive to go beyond what is directly asked of you.
Strong organizational skills: ability to keep track of minute details as well as the big picture while multitasking
Strong research skills necessary
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc
