Senior Software Engineer in Test Practice Fusion -
San Francisco, CA
Responsibilities:
Develop robust automated test suites for Practice Fusion’s growing ecosystem of SAAS products. This may include:
Platform API testing
SOAP/REST service testing
HTML5-based Web Application testing
Flex-based Web Application testing
Mobile web/mobile app testing
Web application performance and load testing
Architect and optimize test frameworks for key automation initiatives
Work with development and build teams to integrate automated tests across the ecosystem into continuous build workflows
Design, develop, and maintain testing tools and resources
Suggest and introduce new methodologies for test cases, regression, and functional testing
Deliver in an Agile development environment working against tight deadlines
Provide leadership/mentoring for other SETs
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience as Software Developer/SET, and a BS or higher degree in Computer Science. Demonstrably superior skills can in some cases compensate.
Advanced skills in developing automated tests for HTML-based web applications with Selenium Webdriver or similar tools.
Advanced skills in developing automated tests for SOAP and RESTful web services, using soapUI or similar tools, or test frameworks/clients you’ve developed yourself
Advanced coding/debugging skills in one or more of: C#, C++, Java
Advanced SQL query-building skills
Solid skills in design and implementation of web scale load and performance testing
Advocate of unit testing and test-driven development
Bonus:
Amazon cloud testing
Jenkins or similar continuous build systems
Mobile test drivers: (iOS, Android)
Microsoft MVC framework
