LearnVest is looking for a sharp senior Software QA Engineer to help build and grow the company’s QA infrastructure.

Responsibilities: Take a lead role in managing the QA process for the LearnVest application platform.
Work with the product team to develop detailed test cases and plans for various feature sets in the application.
Develop automated test suites for performing integration, regression and stress testing of the application.
Develop processes for guidelines for the software QA process at LearnVest, integrating these into the overall software development process and environment.
Work closely with the core engineering team to quickly identify and resolve issues, bottlenecks and process deficiencies.
Set up and maintain a continuous integration server for ongoing testing of development. Work with the senior engineering staff to continuously improve development and QA processes.
Requirements: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing for Java-based enterprise web applications.
Strong familiarity with Java technologies, experience as a software developer in Java/J2EE.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and web testing tools and frameworks like JUnit, HttpUnit, Selenium, CruiseControl and Continuum (for continuous integration)
Experience in QA process – setting up test plans and test suites, issue validation and tracking and detailed documentation.
Strong familiarity with SQL and interaction with a relational database.
Experience in, and eagerness for, working in the rapid-fire environment of a young, dynamic startup. Excellent communication skills, ability to convey ideas and suggestions across multiple parties in the company
