Program Manager will be responsible for managing complex and/or high visibility programs including setting the overall performance strategy, overseeing program schedules and quality control.
Responsible for program growth and business development within current customer base and potential new customers
Provides program reviews to upper management and technical specialists in accordance with contractual requirements, organizational goals and company policy
Collaborates with supervisors and/or staff members in meeting established schedules or to resolve technical or operational problems
Acts as a liaison between managers and customer representatives concerning key task order contract and makes decisions that impact resources, scheduling requirements, contractual matters and customer satisfaction
Prepares and presents briefings, leads and conducts technical and operational meetings and is the principle program spokesperson internally and externally
Provides leadership and is primarily responsible for task performance of up to 60 FTE
15+ years' broad technical experience in defense space systems program. Experience with infrared satellite technology, or advanced spacecraft technology preferred
Experience managing technical team of 20+ personnel
Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system engineering and integration activities
Experience authoring technical documents and conduct formal engineering reviews as it related to Space based programs
Strong understanding of space architecture requirements and development
Strong understanding of space community in both the commercial and defense environment
Knowledge of OPIR Space and ground systems, and space control highly desired
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advance Degree preferred
Proof of US citizenship is required
Possess active TS Clearance and eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
Position is contingent upon funding
