Senior Spares Marketing Administrator
Plan, coordinate and prepare proposals of diverse scope
and complexity in response to customers' requests for
proposal (RFP), request for information (RFI), request
for technical information (RFT), and request for
quotation (RFQ) and/or provide post-sales marketing
Key Characteristics

  • Sales aptitude – driven by finding and closing the
  • Self starter – capable of initiating projects when
the opportunity arises
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills – capable
of building relationships with customers
  • Agile communicator
  • Create monthly metrics related to win rate,
bookings, and sales pipeline
  • Follow up target quotes to obtain the sale
  • Capture market price and latest market conditions in
order to win the next quote
  • Analyze buying behavior of customers and specific
programs to provide current and forward looking
information for internal consumption
  • Increase win %
  • Provide market input into “Parker’s Spares Strategy”
  • Ability to understand the aircraft lifecyle and
implement it into day-to-day quoting activities
  • Closely follow PMA development and create a feedback
loop / database
  • Contribute to expand “No-Use” inventory sale project
with plans to include other divisions
  • Attend and contribute to working sessions and
tutorials on the dynamics of the surplus market
  • Contribute to IT quote software improvements (metric
improvements, standardize no-use reports, dashboard
  • Bachelors degree (BA) in Business Administration or
a related field required
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential
functions of the job typically acquired through six
or more years of increasingly responsible related
marketing or proposal management experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft
Word, Microsoft Excel
  • Phone Support, Frontline Support, Business
Development, National Internet Marketing, Financial
Analysis, Inside Sales
  • Aftermarket sales experience required
