Position Overview:The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting day to day accounting work and financial reporting in accordance with the company’s accounting policies, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the overall goals of the organization. Consistency and accuracy in accounting process required. Identifies and suggests improvements in internal accounting processes. Support the accounting department in other projects and other responsibilities as instructed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Process incoming orders for accuracy and timely billing
Support Client Services for upcoming client renewals
Support Sales for new client orders and pricing
Maintain contract library and support internal and external client contract requirements
Support the month end close process under direction of Manger of Business Services including account analysis and work paper preparation
Ensure that internal accounting policies and procedures are followed, and assist with any documentation and research as directed by Manager of Business Services
Assist in preparation of annual audit and other financial projects.
Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as instructed.
Support of all Jobs2Web standard employee and corporate processes and policies
Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or another rigorous discipline.
One to two years’ industry experience (SaaS environment ideal) in a financial role performing day to day accounting and financial reporting.
Public accounting experience in software or related industry.
Strong analytic and financial reporting skills. Advanced level of Excel and financial reporting software skills. Experience with Business Intelligence systems is a plus.
Two or more years' experience in a technology and/or highly entrepreneurial environment

Software Experience:
Quickbooks , NetSuite, BusinessByDesign and/or other accounting financial software systems.
Microsoft Office. “Power user” of Excel and Access including Excel functions and pivot tables.
Business Intelligence tools and understanding of databases and multi-dimensional reporting.
CRM tools such as Salesforce.com or SalesByDesign
