The position requires at least an Associate's degree or two-year College equivalent (at least 60 undergraduate semester hours) and at least two years of prior-related work experience. The position requires at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.
Substitution of Experience for Education Permitted (Non-faculty only)
The position provides advanced secretarial, administrative and clerical support to the Dean of Student Services to ensure effective and efficient daily office operations. The position may also assist department with the operation of computerized applications (to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
Prefer applicants with: (1) a general understanding of budgets, (2) user knowledge of Microsoft applications (especially Word and Excel), and (3) experience in customer service positions.
Supplemental Job Information
The position may require flexible work hours during high student registration periods.
