The position requires at least an Associate's degree or two-year College equivalent (at least 60 undergraduate semester hours) and at least two years of prior-related work experience. The position requires at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.
Substitution of Experience for Education Permitted (Non-faculty only)
The position provides advanced secretarial, administrative and clerical support to Academic Affairs to ensure effective and efficient daily office operations. The position may also assist department with the operation of computerized applications (to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
Prefer applicants with: (1) experience working in higher education, (2) some experience working with budgets, ordering supplies and textbooks, (3) experience processing human resource documents, (4) experience using software systems, (5) excellent oral and written communication and (6) demonstrated customer service skills.
