What we need:
The senior statistician in Advanced Analytics will conduct quantitative analysis for clients in support of the development of effective marketing programs. This role will be responsible for developing methodology and delivering business-relevant analytical results and recommendations to clients.

Major Responsibilities

Collaborate with project leader and client to gather business requirements

Translate client business problem into analytical problem

Recommend data and analytical approaches/methodology to address business problem

Develop analytical project plan, manage day-to-day tasks, and meet project deadlines

Perform advanced analytics tasks, including but not limited to:

Test design and multivariate analysis

Customized data analysis (extraction, transformation, aggregation)

Design and execution of business reporting (productionalized and ad-hoc)

Predictive modeling

Segmentation and profiling

Time series forecasting and analysis

Create meaningful analytical outputs

Make actionable recommendations based on analytical outputs

Present analytical methodology and results to both technical and non-technical audience

Contribute to statistical innovation and process improvement initiatives

Required Skills

Required Experience

3-5 years industry experience in data-based marketing/risk analytics

Master’s or higher degree in statistics, math, economics or related quantitative fields

Hands-on experiences using analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, R, CART/CHAID

Hands-on experiences with applying statistical techniques such as regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, factor analysis, time series forecasting, experimental and design, etc to solve business problem

Experience with standard office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office) is expected; ability to automate functionality using VBA a plus

Strong problem solving; takes initiative; team player

Excellent written and oral presentation skills
