o Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred
• Experience, Qualifications and Qualities
o Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in strategy, business planning and data analysis; hospital operations and financial planning experience preferred; familiarity with health care a must;
o Intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills with ability to synthesize disparate sources of data
o Outstanding communication skills, including oral, written and presentation
o Ability to work collaboratively in a complex matrixed organization
o Must be able to work independently to drive and complete projects in an efficient and timely manner
o Strong database (SQL or Access) management and data mining skills
o Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel, Access and Power Point
o Intermediate user of ArcGIS or similar mapping software
o Knowledge of demographic and planning databases such as Claritas and Truven.

The Senior Strategic Planning Associate contributes to the organization’s national leadership position by supporting strategic planning initiatives, clinical program development, business planning, and competitive positioning analysis. Works in conjunction with clinical leaders and managers to develop analytical models, synthesize data, and prepares actionable reports and business plans.
