Atkins seeks an energetic, highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter to join our Los Angeles staff as a Senior Structural Construction Administrator.

  • Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) in State of California
  • Resides in or near LA county
  • Experienced in structural engineering Construction Administration on large scale ( $100M+) projects
o Shop Drawings and submittals

o Site inspections and observations

o Ability to communicate, negotiate and resolve conflicts in the field.

o Calculations and reviews

o Interpreting Construction documents

o Respond to RFI’s

o Develop field reports and records

o Familiar with LA County Structural Observation requirements

  • Min. 10-yrs. experience; hospitality or entertainment experience a plus
  • Excel, Revit, Word, and Autocad proficient
  • Familiarity with California Building codes
  • On-site location in LA, min. 18 months

Job Details

B.S. or M.S. in Structural Engineering. M.S. or graduate level technical coursework preferred. This level may be achieved by Engineers with seven years of experience since B.S. or 6 years since M.S. Typical incumbent has ten to fourteen years of experience.
