Senior Systems Analyst to evaluate systems, and develop and execute all phases of QA testing for software/systems. Duties:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of business process supported by software systems/products;
  • Document system and business processes requirements;
  • Create requirements, test plans, test requirements, test scenarios, test cases and test data for use during all phases of the software development cycle, for new and existing software systems/products;
  • Perform system testing, regression testing, integration testing;
  • Assist users in User Acceptance Testing;
  • Document and report issues discovered during testing, and follow up for resolution;
  • Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and change control activities;
  • Monitor track and log defects in defect tracking tool and generate quality metrics;
  • Work as part of Scrum Development team and/or as Scrum Master, conduct and effectively participate in sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews and retrospectives;
  • Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection, task definition; and
  • Develop and report team status and metrics to the CLIENT Project Management Office.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or foreign equiv. degree) or related field, and 2 years of systems analysis experience involving software testing through all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience must include:

  • SDLC testing in Waterfall or Scrum/Agile environment
  • 1 year documenting and supporting requirements analysis and development of test cases, test plans, and test data for use during the testing phases of the software development lifecycle, for new and existing software systems/products
  • 1 year of hands-on QA testing experience in Windows and/or web-based environment;
  • 1 year of experience with 3rd party requirements management, defect tracking and testing tools
  • Experience may be gained concurrently.
