Scope of Position:|
The Team Leader will work closely with the Branch Manager to direct and manage an Engineering team in the Fairfax office. They will supervise and be responsible for the overall directions, coordination, and management of an Engineering Team. The candidate should be able to execute through administration, technical and management techniques on multiple projects to ensure the successful completion, on time and within allocated budget. They should be experienced with processing land development projects in Fairfax County and well versed in local ordinance and codes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
2.Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia required.
3.Responsible for management of daily plan production of team, schedule, budget, collections and opportunities.
4.Responsible for management of 4 to 5 personnel to effectively execute project contracts.
5.Minimum of ten (10) years Engineering or related land development experience to include a minimum of two years project management experience.
6.Experience in Fairfax County.
7.Thorough understanding of municipal codes and regulations applying to the land development industry.
