Description Under the direction of the ITS Project Management Office, the Project Manager will plan, direct and coordinate activities surrounding major department or organizational project(s) and initiative(s) to ensure goals and objectives are met within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Responsibilities include operations analysis, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, development of project work or implementation plans, formation of work groups, management of work group processes aligned with a standard project lifecycle. The Project Manager will facilitate information flow between project members, management and others. The Project Manager will facilitate and operationalize relationships with external organizations, vendors and other strategic partners. The Project Manager has some managerial level responsibility and decision-making authority for assigned projects.
Bachelor's Degree plus 10 years work experience (of which 7 years include project work experience) required. Master's Degree is a plus.
Project Management experience required.
Background in healthcare and supervisory experience preferred.
Experience with tools used for project management
Experience in all phases of project management introducing medium-to-large-scale change in a corporate environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Good software and application knowledge with base knowledge of relevant technologies with experience in software development lifecycle.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Project Management Institute (PMI) - Project Management Certification (PMP) or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is a plus.
