A. Manage and provide end user support for the various technologies utilized within the Office of Admission and Records and Registration, i.e., Datatel, National Clearinghouse, Image Now, and any other technology used within these offices.
B. Identify technological needs within the Admissions and Records and Registration Office.
C. Investigate and implement solutions.
D. Monitor established systems and troubleshoot where necessary.
E. Collaborate with the Asst. Vice President of Enrollment Management and the Registrar in decisions regarding established technical systems.
F. Monitor new and emerging technologies in regard to the needs of the Admissions and Records and Registration Office.
G. Support and assist Admissions and Records and Registration staff members with their technology needs.
H. Assist Counselors/Academic Advisors with respect to reporting.
I. Assist and train staff on data entry to ensure the data is entered accurately.
J. Assist with the implementation of new solutions within the Admissions and Records and Registration Offices.
K. Train staff on new systems and create and update documentation.
L. Assist and collaborate with the Asst. VP of Enrollment Management and the Registrar, as well as third parties, to accomplish daily work as well as short- term and long- term projects.
M. Assist counterparts in other Enrollment Services areas.
N. Responsible for the reporting of all National Clearinghouse information.
O. Work closely with IT programming staff and act as technology resource for the Admissions and Records and Registration departments.
P. Responsible for the accuracy of the data that is entered into Datatel.
Q. Manage and monitor data loads and processing.
R. Ensure integrity of the data utilized by the Offices of Admissions and Records and Registration.
S. Create and generate reports for the Offices of Admission and Records and Registration.
T. Identify, recommend and implement solutions to meet the operational needs and goals of the Admissions and Records and Registration Offices.
U. Investigate possible solutions by working with the IT staff on campus.
V. Create a policy and procedure manual for the technological processes and reporting within the Offices of Admissions and Records and Registration.
A. Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
B. Three to five years related work experience.
C. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
D. Solid analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
E. Excellent computer skills with experience using word processing, spreadsheet database, and various software such as Datatel.
F. Perform other duties as assigned (M.E.).

Hours of Work:
The Senior Technical Specialist shall be employed on a twelve-month basis, working Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week. Compensation benefits shall be in accordance with the Handbook for Non-Affiliated Hourly Personnel and pertinent Board of Trustees policies. Regular prompt attendance shall be considered an essential job responsibility
