Advertised Summary Job Description

The Senior Technician position is available in a developmental genetics lab investigating genetic control of mammalian embryonic development. The Technician will be in charge of ordering supplies and maintaining laboroatory stocks. He/she will maintain transgeneic mouse breeding colonies, including genotyping and general husbandry, as well as performing PCR, in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry. The technician will dissect embryos and be responsible for data collection and computer entry and will carrout research projects under supervision.

Requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Mouse experience required.
